Click Start Click Help and Support Type Battery in the search window. There is troubleshooting there. Read the Microsoft Knowledge base on the bottom of that window.

ok, I'm at school now. My home computer went dead right after I typed that message. It won't start this morning. Any other ideas? I have no idea why it "thinks" it's on a battery!!! No plugs were undone, loose or any such thing. Trevor moved home, and will have his computer there now. (Long story...Guess I needed those G*D hugs the other day... ) So, I'll be lucky. In the meantime, I'll have a computer to use, once it's set up. I'll follow your suggestion. But, if it won't start now, what else? ![]() Thanks for the help... Shalom!

That's over my head Teach. It could also mean that you need a new power supply. I think you might need someone to look at it.

Thanks. I'm at school on Saturday. I think I do need a new power supply, and they told me at the store, I have to go through the company; can't buy one at Best Buy or such. So, until Trevor gets his computer set up, I'm stuck without a computer for a while.... Shalom!

Well, I"m home. I used duck tape!!! Yup, the guy at the store found a tinie tiny tear in the supply cord. Since I couldn't buy one there, and he told me they are very expensive, and I have no extra cash on hand right now, (needing both oil and wood), I can't buy one. So, I tried the duck tape. It worked!!! 1001 uses for duck tape, LOL! ![]() I'm going to leave the computer right on the table where it is. If I don't move it, it might not *know* it's injured. ![]() Wish me luck! ![]() Shalom!
