| Chat/Log in problems For log in and chat issues. Before logging in check the little "Remember Me" box next to the log in window. This will usually resolve the issue of getting automatically logged out. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Check your security settings. 1. On your browser at the top select Tools, then Internet Options and click the Security tab. 2. Click on "Trusted Sites" (the green circle with the check mark) and then click the "Sites" button below it. 3. Uncheck the "Require server verification (https"button if it's checked, and add the site URL [www.soberrecovery.com] to the "Add this Website to the Zone" field. Then click "Add". 4. Click "OK." 5. Next, click on the "Privacy" tab. 6. Below where it says "Web sites" click on the "Edit" button. 7. Add the bulletin board's domain [www.soberrecovery.com] and select "Always Allow." 8. Click OK twice, close your browser, re-open it and try logging on. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ If that doesn't work try minimizing your AOL window and open internet explorer. Try logging in that way. You can find internet explorer by clicking start-programs-internet explorer. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ If you are still having problems you can try deleting your temporary internet files and cookies. CCleaner is a freeware system optimization and privacy tool. It removes unused files from your system - allowing Windows to run faster and freeing up valuable hard disk space. It also cleans traces of your online activities such as your Internet history. But the best part is that it's fast (normally taking less than a second to run) and contains NO Spyware or Adware! Thanks for the information Morning Glory, I am copying it right now. I had the problem because the correct password was not accepted for some reason. I did get a new password so am back in business. I am having a pretty severe episode of depression and not is all well with my head and concentration right now. I need to make a book of my forums & user names and passwords. ![]() I have been trying to get the online paperwork done for our new mail order pharmacy with our medical insurance and it is complicated so I am getting so frustrated because stuff isn't going through right even when I write it down. Thanks Again, kelsh

Hi,MG...I did it again...ugh. Tried to answer with a quote and ended up erasing the rest of the poster's post. I can't seem to restore the original by Ichobad in the thread on F and F about "informal poll about staying/leaving" (says I edited it.) Think you could find this and undue my mistake? Thanks |

Hi Joyce, That can happen if you have to push the reply button twice. It views it as a duplicate and sends out an error message.
