Why am I being told to remove thanks. I beginning to feel self conscious (lol)

Thanks Carol. It has never come up before and now it comes up down the bottom 'Remove Your Thanks' I just wasnt sure why?

It shows up for everybody who leaves it. It's an option that has recently been turned on. If you want to remove your "Thanks" from a post somewhere, you now have the option to do so.
