Toolbar Not Working? New here, but not new to forums and especially not vbulletin. My toolbar isn't working (fonts, smilies, attachments, etc.) when I'm trying to create a thread. It's not allowing me to click on anything. I tried in both Explorer and Firefox. 'Sup?

Now I'm seeing '1. You are only allowed to post links to other sites after you have made 15 posts or more. If you are logging in please use your back button to continue.' Did I overlook that the same applies to smilies, font, etc. somewhere in the rules?

None of those work for me either. They used to. I'm not sure what happened. Welcome to SR prima donna. PS -- when I type in : ) with no spaces it puts the smiley in for me

Ah, reading helps... Read 'Interface Editor' a few posts down. I can't type the link here as I don't have 15 posts yet. That blows. Takes the fun out of communicating via message boards. I happen to be very proud of my extensive smiley collection. Not being able to use any, including those offered by SR, is a serious buzzkill. [/whining.]

They did work well for a long time, but then stopped working and the owners of the site haven't fixed them.

We have a couple of plugins installed that are causing a conflict and causing the problem with the editors and smilies. The owners are not fixing it so we just all have to live with it and get creative. You can contact them with any complaints. Here is the link to the BB codes you can manually type in. http://soberrecovery.com/forums/misc.php?do=bbcode The editor buttons on the quick reply work so you can use that editor.

That is pretty sad to tell you the truth! It doesn't take a lot of effort really to recode things if in fact they know how. I have a Tech Support at the new site that I created and this person takes the time to do it. This person does own a site and is very helpful to fix things. I think that this person could figure it out. But like you said the owners here don't want to fix it. Ugghhhh that is a shame really.
