| Spell Check
I know this is going to turn out to be a stupid question (I know, I know, "there are no stupid questions!!) but... When I click on the abc spellcheck icon, nothing seems to happen. I mispelled a word delibrately to be sure... It's the little "abc" icon on the right side of the screen. Am I using the wrong icon? Clicking it wrong? Any help? |

You need to have iespell installed to get this to work. Do you not get a little popup window when you click on this icon?

Mine stopped working after the upgrade and I downloaded iespell again and it didn't fix it. You can use iespell without it though. http://www.iespell.com/download.php After installing just right click on a post and click check spelling.

Thanks everyone... I'll probably try cut and paste until I download the spellcheck. Everytime I download a new toolbar or something it opens up new headaches and at least an hours work! I'll pick a day when I'm feeling smart, brave, and have lots of free time to try the download. |

I have google search in my browser toolbar. Google has a spell check that works on every word you type in the search window. Why do I still spell things wrong? Because don't check every word *LOL* I check the words that look wrong and know that the spelling police don't come around here much *LOL*
