| Thank you button
Hi Though I have been reading here awhile, I am somewhat new to actually posting. I appreciate much of the ESH that is shared on this site and would like to acknowldege some of those posts, but I find that when push the Thanks button at the bottom of the post the button disappears, but no Thanks are registered. I don't think it is a permissions problem because I drove to my office last night to check and I was able to use this function there. I have AOL dial-up on an iMac - tried using Internet Explorer browser as well and still the same results. Is my set up just too outdated? Thanks P |

I see your thank you...take a look at this thread, I see it there... http://www.soberrecovery.com/forums/...returning.html The thank you's go alphabetically, I think, so yours may not be the first to show, but it should be there.

Hi Ann I went to my office last night and added some thank yous... it shows up immediately when I use the thank you button there. When I try it here (home) it doesn't seem to be visible to me .... I depressed the thank you button on your post above - button is gone but I don't see a thank you. Do you see anything? Maybe I need to refresh the page or something -P |

It sounds like a Mac / IE settings problem, or an outdated OS version. Try using Camino for Mac OSX; http://www.mozilla.org/products/camino/ If you're using OS9, then you can try iCab; http://www.icab.de/ Dial up latency could also be a factor. Performing a multiple refresh can sometimes fix it temporarily. |
