My parents got it with their new computer...only had a couple of days with it, but can't say I like it much...too many 'continue or cancel' commands for one thing... D

good lord don't get me started almost threw the LP into the wall the first week I got it. it gave me a PC experince of a different kind.yes, it's a bug a boo. It came installed on my laptop. It's a memory hog... yes...yes..eye canddy it crashed freanken every other day when i first go it. Some, mmm... a lot of software will not work on the vista, And i have run in adminstrator mode to have it running decent...that's a hell of a thing , when I'm surfing. there also vedio/sound drive conflicts. On a software that i like to use...I had to import files from the the old XP. but it looks like crap compare to xp MS takes no responsiblity for this by the way... they say..it's up to the software or harward company to comply to vista...wtf?? if you running on less than 1 GHz and less than 1 G of ram..you'll have fun.lol Just at the wallpaper screen...it's freanken 58% of ram, on a 1024.lol don't even upgrade to a vista if you only have a 512. The xp works fine..the vista dosn't really look that much different as far as a leap or something grand. However that's what drive the technology...intel and MS are like bed bodies. AMD is suppose to lanch a chip 10 times faster than anything avaliable, soon. So..I read, MS is suppose to lanch a non bug of hoot vista...holidays,of course. and the XP will no longer be available soon....we're screwed.lol gotta get...new of this or new of that. in other words, if you're printer ain't vista ready you might have to buy a new one or serch for an update driver I stop reserching...after the 4th time it crashed. There something funcky happening 2 my LP at the moment it sticks and I have to restart. So much for something new out of the box running good. Maybe if I'm spiriraul fit or gear up for resenments, I'll start looking into it again.lol oh,I like the XP just fine..but I got my old PC used so I don't have a XP disc. otherwise i would have dump the vista. My new LP would probably run twice as fast without vista and without bugs. |

Well what I have is a Dell Deminsion 3100 I bought a year ago. I used to be able to do a F11 to wipe it out and to start it all over when I restarted my computer. However now that I have installed the Windows Vista my computer doesn't have this function so how do I do it to get back to my Windows XP SP2?

I did a little more reserch. It might not even be possiable to installed XP on PC that was pre-install with Vista from the factory. A lot of people had came across this problem. It makes sense, becuase when I purchase chips for certain projects, Even thou I would purchase the same type of chips. I also had to be more especific to how the chips are formated. |
