| I'm back to drinking my dinner
But instead of beer, wine, or whiskey it's kale, cucumber, and ginger, ect! Yes I've started juicing, I love my Swamp Water Special, kale, spinach, parsley, cucumber, celey, lemon, and ginger. It's so refreshing and good for you too. I can always get my five servings of vegetables this way. Anybody else juice?

Sounds healthy and I bet it tastes good! I can't drink fruit/veggie juices, always get stomach pain from the acid, so I have to cook my veggies.

Here's some good juice recipes juicerecipesnow.com Or google juice recipes. Green juice is really good, it's important to blend the flavors. Just don't leave out the cucumber we learned that by mistake!

good on you WakeUp. yes I juice and I will definitely try that combo you mentioned. I have been mainly eating raw food for the last 2 months for first 4 weeks I was very strict. I have lost a lot of weight effortlessly it seems. It has changed my whole attitude to food. I am now experimenting with gourmet recipes and find this is the easiest cuisine to work with. I trained as a chef years ago. Next month I will open a raw food restaurant in Vietnam. This has only been possible because I am sober, thanks to AA and this website. I grew wheatgrass and started having wheatgrass everyday but was upsetting my stomach will try again later this week. I love the whole process of growing it and juicing. I was groing them in my discarded coconut shells and they looked really attractive. caiHong |

I just saw this, but I did a 28 day juice fast to get on a complete vegetarian diet and get rid of some addictions I had. It did wonders.

Glad I found this thread. I discovered juicing last year when my husband and I joined a CSA. We had so many veggies we couldn't eat them fast enough. Bought a juicer and we're never going back! Juicing daily has really helped in quitting alcohol. Thank you veggies.

I juiced alot last year, and need to get back into it. I loved anything with Ginger in it!! I also make "Monster Lemonade" for the kids - Kale, mint and Lemons....they had no idea they were drinking veggies!

Beats and Carrots! Yummy! (Caution: If you've never juiced using fresh beats, take it easy at first (sip about an ounce to see how you react.) Beats are FANTASTIC for the liver!
