| Does anybody else have a bad liver?
I'm finally clean from 1,000 tries. The benzo withdrawal was the worst. My liver is so bad that even when I eat healthy foods, my liver flares up. About 8 years ago, already with a bad liver, I continued to drink and got so swollen that I had to hold it up with my 2 hands, couldn't walk, had pain whenever I would twist my hips or carry something heavy but continued to punish my liver by drinking. At one time , it got better but didn't stop me, actually my addction grew stronger with benzodiaipines/crack and alcohol all mixed together for another 4 years. Can you believe this, I went to the doctor and they didn't find anything. As I'm wrtitng now, it's swollen, it's uncomfortable but I'm so use to it. I know for a fact my liver is somewhat scarred. Would that scar eventually heal from years and years of punishment? My poor liver. ![]() It's time to honor my body. |

Hi there Jin, I also, for 8 years punished my body with a bottle of red wine a night plus 30+ codeine pills per day and guess what? My liver is 100% perfect!!! I dont think what I did was big, or clever but I am so glad that my liver and kidneys are fine. I put it down to drinking 20+ glasses of water per day ChillyB |
