She wants me to walk a 5K!!!!

My friend wants me to walk a 5K in five days from now.

Okay, I just chugged down two cans of soda... after polishing off a p'zone all by myself.

Well, not quite two. I'm on my second now, but I had one earlier and... Well crap. I'm not a healthy person.

I have two living children and my maternity clothes don't fit me anymore! I mean... I'm REALLY fat.

But this friend says things like, "You can do it. I know you can. No excuses."

She's a blessing.

And I hate her.

But 5K? I mean, isn't there some rule that fat people can die horribly from walking too far and sweating too much? I'm 32 and I walk like an 80-year-old.

Any suggestions on how to get out of this?.... um... I mean how to find a way to do this?

How hard is it to really work on that willpower. I'm crap when it comes to watching what I eat. I always cheat. Exercise is usually the way I have to go. I work out a lot and then I start automatically eating more healthy things. But lately I don't even have time to work out. Any quick workout tips from anyone would be great, too. Thanks!

if its in five days there's not a lot of planning to do=) Take big walks every day before then, and the day of the race walk as slow as you need to and drink plenty of water.

good luck=)

I agree. Just don't push yourself too much. If you feel like passing out or something, take a short break and drink water. 5K in five days is not so bad.

It all depends on how you walk right now…. If you can manage half a km without any hassles, You can manage 5k in 5 days, provided you walk regularly for 5 days.
