| Stealing the Food Journal
I am stealing Renee's food journal idea b/c I think it will help me to eat less. I don't want to post a bunch of stuff on here so I think it'll help me to think about it before I put something in my mouth. Today- Breakfast-wheat english muffin w/ tsp. butter Lunch- 2 slices ham and one piece of swiss cheese on white bread w/mustard Dinner- I will be having 1 baked chicken breast, roasted new potatoes with seasoning and asparagus for dinner. Snack will be sugar free popsicle. |

I like the food journal.......Cinderella--doesn't matter if you don't eat enough or just junk....this way you can keep up with what you are eating and make better food choices, whether it is to gain weight, maintain weight or lose weight. This is all to make us healthier and to make better food choices and portion sizes!!!

OK Cinderella......back away from the candy bar!!!!! Why wait til tomorrow???? Start right this minute....you will be a half a day ahead of the game if you do it now. Sarah, you didn't mess up too bad....as long as dessert wasn't included with that Boston Market dinner. You are doing great today....I know nights are hard for me.... I always get hungry again around 8pm.... Today: Breakfast: Special K with skim milk & fat free cappachino Snack: Carrotts again.... Luncn in about 10 minutes: Lean Cuisine Dinner is scary...I am going out with a friend it's always a fine dining place with him so god help me....gotta stay away from those sauces on that healthy salmon..... and most likely a glass or 2 of merlot

Dinner last night was one half of a baked lemon chicken breast with 1 measured serving of mac & cheese with light butter and skim milk. Drank skim milk with dinner Today for me is going alright breakfast- dry cheerios and diet pepsi (need to drink more water I know I know, but i needed caffiene) Lunch- half a baked chicken breast (yuck, new recipe last night and didn't care for it, ate half last night and half today) with 1 premeasured serving of mac and cheese (light butter and skim milk) Crystal Light to drink Dinner tonight---i don't know yet but I am thinking spagetti b/c its quick and i'm tired......its my downfall though......only eat one serving of noodles and one serving of pasta with no fattening hamburger meat. Chewing sugarless gum when I get the hunger cravings........ |

Today for me was no breakfast/no time and good thing b/c my boss is buying everyone lunch today from the local fish resturant to benefit his church. I am having fried chicken strips w/ hushpuppies. That is probably the most fattening thing in the world....looks like it'll be extra walking and salad for dinner tonight. |

No time for my usual Special K this morning so I had a Power Bar instead. Lunch will be a WW meal of some sort. I keep the freezer here at my office stocked with lots of choices. Dinner: For some reason I think it's going to be bad...lol My boys love Pizza on Friday nights and the one we order is awesome so I am already setting myself up.... Maybe and extra 20 minutes on the treadmill tonight.... This is a lot of work...sigh

Pam-- Sigh is right. It is hard. I hate exercising on the weekend but I'll have to do it for an extra long time tonight after the lunch I am going to have. Elizabeth-- I had the bc weight gain too!! Finally had to switch the pills I was taking b/c they made me STAY HUNGRY. The new ones are quite better! Also had to stopped smoking weight gain, that one was really rough. HEY--has anyone tried those salad spritzers by Wishbone? I would like to know if they taste like the actual dressing. They supposedly only have like 1 calorie per spritz. |

No I haven't tried those spritzers yet, but I would imagine they taste the same it is just porportioned minimally....A spray would have to be a lot less than POURING it on...lol

The salad spritzer thing is marketing trickery. They market it as 1 calorie, when I think if you poured salad dressing in a 79 cent spray bottle and watered it down, ...you would have the same effect. That stuff is almost 5 bucks in stores here!
