Today

Short and sweet.....today has started out to be a good day! Nothing in particular has happened, just feel up and good. I am having breakfast.....a chili dog in tortilla....don't frown, I eat strange things for breakfast. This one consists of turkey frank, turkey chili (which is 98% fat free) and a small amount of cheese sprinkled over it, rolled up in a flour (yes, I said flour) tortilla. Yum! Now I will have me pepsi...lol -have to have my caffine- and I am on my way to the rest of my day!

I do feel great this morning. I have made it to the gym every night this week so far and that is good. Even last night when my workout buddy didn't go, I went. I do feel it working eventho I haven't seen the results yet. But I will.

OK, so on with my day. How's everyone else's day going?

Pony;
You sound great! Your post really gave me a smile today!
I had leftover pizza for breakfast the other day! lol!
So glad you've been going to the gym. So have I, almost daily! I'm not *seeing* results yet, but, man, I sure am feeling them! I've got a bounce in my step! LOL! I'll bet you do too, right?
Keep up the good work! It's a one day at a time thing, right? And each day we do the right thing matters, cuz it adds up!

Shalom!

Hi Pony,
So glad to hear that your day started out so well. I hope the rest of the day went as well as the first. This is going to sound freaky, but my Aunt and I sometimes have cold red beans for breakfast. Some people call them brown beans. (Pinto Beans) Some times we have a slice of bread with them, but sometimes we don't. My Daddy used to eat a bowl of red beans with a piece of chocolate cake on top. I have never tried that one.

I am impressed that you have continued to go to the gym everyday. You know that it has to be doing lots of good in so many ways. Not just with weight loss. But yes, from my past experience it will all of a sudden show one morning. I never understood why or how our body saves up this surprise for us until all at once. Kindof like when our kids just wake up one morning and they are obviously so much taller than when they went to bed the night before.

I have also done good today on my choices and sizes of meals, no sweets, done my journaling, starting to read some of my OA books, a little at a time and worked my plans in a few other ways. Like trying to always think positive and be thankful and practice keeping myself clean and groomed whether I'm going anywhere or not. This seems to make a really big difference for me in how my day turns out. Taking my vitamins and calcium everyday and the daily meds. that I have to take to be healthy. I've been drinking plenty of water and juices and trying to get plenty of sunshine and fresh air. Still haven't gone to the Dr. so still not well enough to exercise. Keep posting. I like to know that you all are with me on this.

Actually it sounds as if everyone had a good day.

The rest of my day was very nice. Work went smooth. I spent some time with a friend after work, and that was nice. I didn't get to the gym today though, but I will tomorrow.

My dinner tonight was pretty good.....chicken and mashed potatoes. I never did get a real lunch, but I did get a banana in somewhere about 3:30 this afternoon. My work schedule sometimes is very difficult to work with in terms of food. lol But really I didn't really feel that hungry anyway.

Hope everyone else's day turned out just as nice and hope that tomorrow, which will be "today" by the time you read this...lol..., is a great one!!
