Weight Loss Tip Brought to you by Bally Total Fitness http://www.ballynutrition.com Saving Up For the Splurge? Don't! If you skip meals during the day, chances are that you'll go overboard on the high calorie goodies at the holiday gathering. Instead, lighten up your caloric intake during the day by about 500 calories, but don't skip any meals. Eat about half of what you normally would eat at each meal. I go to Bally's gym, and get this through their nutrition site. Gonna try. Sometimes, I worry, though. With so much going on, I'm rather afraid of adding one more thing to my life -- on top of smoking, house, school, gym... Too many changes at once. But, I've got the beginnings of diabetes and need to change some things. So, I'll take little pieces of this until I'm more centered. And I'll take it one day at a time. Hope it helps others too. Shalom!

No problem. I'll continue to share them as I get them. ![]() Weight Loss Tip Brought to you by Bally Total Fitness http://www.ballynutrition.com EAT FOR REAL. When shopping this holiday season you may think you just want something to "hold you over," but most times you'd be better off having a full-blown meal. Snacks can easily add up to the same amount of calories and fat as a meal - and then you end up eating twice, doubling the calories. Just take a look at these classic mall treats: Cinnabon - more than 700 calories; Mrs. Fields cookies - more than 250 calories per cookie; Auntie Anne's Pretzel with butter - more than 400 calories. WOW! Wonder how many times I've done the same thing? And never with a thought. :Being conscious about what's going in is important to maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Shalom!
