I have been a sober member of AA for 21 years and now realize that I am addicted to sugar. What do I do?

First off welcome to this forum.

Well, lets see, It is not uncommon to hear about an addiction to sugar. I have heard that most alcoholics have been or are. Since I'm not sure how you arrived at the knowledge of this addiction I would first suggest that you see a doctor for a check up ruling out the possibility of diabeties or some other related medical condition.

Also, and this is only a rumor I have heard, but I was told about a vitamine that supposedly curbs the sugar craving. I can't remember which one it was though and I don't know for sure if it really works. I will try to find out and post it here for you. It might be worth a try.

Feel free to come back and let us know how things are and what you have found out.

thanks for the reply. i have already been to a doctor and do not have diabetes. great suggestion though and i will search for the vitamin as well.
