| Summer is approaching......
Man it is very hot around here today. I have downed lots and lots of water! I have even really felt like eating it is so hot. Here is about to be 7:30 pm and I was thinking I should make dinner but it's so hot. I am not used to it being hot yet! lol I'll tell you one thing. I am going to get alot of swimming in while this weather is this hot. I already did two hours a couple of days ago. I wold have yesterday also but I had to work late. Anyways, I went shopping today and was looking at some nice sandels and thong types with pretty flowers or bead work on the straps. Anyway, they looked pretty good on my feet and my painted toe nails (that I did the other night for myself after swimming). I also tried on some anklets and was surprised to find one that was a gold chain type, fit me. My ankles must be going down some. So in all I had a pretty good day.

Summer and the foods of summer as well. Hotdogs that are filled with sodium are on my Dr's list he gave me...do not eat Still a lean cheeseburger will do and that is a staple food item in my diet anyway *LOL* No chips allowed. Wil need make salads and maybe a treat of fruit cocktail from a can or fresh fruits. Eating correctly and summer don't always go together. Will need keep mindful of that and be sure to eat healthy and balanced meals.

Summer, YEP it is upon us, not ready yet...nope. LOL, but oh well. I painted my nails to Pony....I love wearing sandals. I think it is easier in the summer to eat better because it is refreshing to have a big salad or fresh fruit salad when it is hot outside. My H and I were planning our first RV trip last night talking about food to take. Yep Hamburgers, no bun for us. fruits, salad, nuts, flaxseed chips for him and water. It is the winter when I hypernate and want to eat soups and bread and all that kind of stuff. I did have chicken hotdogs the other day best on a whole wheat bun from T joes !!! YUM. Pony....your hot is way hotter than my hot

I know what you mean about salads and all that. I used to love to eat frozen peas and green beans (Italian cut) and corn too, right out of the freezer and added to salads. I did spend just about all yesterday pool side at my mom's. Didn't swim much (too many people out at her pool--community pool) but did get a start on the tan! Lots of water !

oh yum. I had corn of the cob on Saturday for the first time in a long time. I am not supposed to eat it on the southbeach..alot of carbs in corn. So no more for me for a long time. But the frozen veggies in the salads might be good I think you told me that last summer.

Yeah, I love to eat them, they just don't love me anymore! I truely miss some of the good stuff. I have to find a way to get some of it in without it hurting my digestion too much. It really sucks .... I know, I'm whining!

You know I do have some, but I am so bad about remembering to take them. It's the Weight Smart ones from One A Day. They seemed to work very good when I was being consistant with them. It's amazing how regular one can be with bad habits, but have no consistancy at all with good ones! :slaphead
