Cake anyone?????

OMG one of my employees brought me a HUGE cake for my birthday yesterday. I just got it this morning. It is not just a small round cake, it is HUGE. I would say it could feed 20-30 people....PARTY SIZE CAKE. It is beautiful, with fresh flowers on it. OMG, I said thank you of course and how nice it was but OMG. This afternoon when they get off work I will give everyone a piece....but the rest is going out into my neighborhood. this morning I am cutting that thing up and taking it to my neighbors.

It was a very sweet thought and gift for my birthday but I can't eat it

Wow !!! How awesome & how sweet !!! No pun intended, of course. You must feel so honored that she would do something that elaborate for you !!! You must be a very good employer or else she's gonna hit you up for a raise !!! LOL !!!! I'm sorry that you can't eat it, but the neighbors are certainly going to be glad. Again, have a wonderful birthday weekend !!!

Happy Birthday!

You get to have one piece though, right?

May I recommend the "work yourself to death" diet? I've lost 40 pounds without a single thought about what I eat except for when I'm broke I try to buy the MOST calories for a dollar and when I need to stay awake it's all about the sugar. I'm within 7 pounds of my goal weight. I hope now that the pressure is off and I'm eating lettuce and yogurt again I don't balloon or something. But right now I have to go in search of some suitable dessert to honor your birthday.

Thanks Smokie...no acutally all I did was lick the knife when I cut a piece. I saved my calories for my annual bday Tirimisu...which was delicious by the way LOL.

WOW I am so proud of you, but not happy for the way you did it, I know you are exhausted. Take care of yourself...vitamins? do you take vitamins? if not you need to.

Sometimes I drink those Slimfast things. They have vitamins. It's getting hard to find the ones that are not low-carb, though. I can't make myself pay that much for something that doesn't even count as a whole snack.

I am having Breyer's Light Vanilla Bean Ice Cream with 2% milkfat for your birthday. It's been in the fridge awhile and the texture is kind of... um... playful... but it tastes fine. Cheers!

Cheers right back at ya with my snack of celery and PB!!!

I have to tell you I am doing the low carb thing now and I have dropped 15 (last time I checked) but it was the 15 I gained back between the wedding and Christmas ...so there you go.

but it is working.

Last night I wanted something sweet, I had low carb ice cream.....made with splenda...YUM!

cheers Smokie!!

and no the vitamins in slimfast don't count....you need some vitamins my friend.
