Sorry it has taken me so long to post more. Here it is:

2. Caretakers are usually lonely and emotionally undernourished. They operate in an emotional trade deficit. They give enormous amounts of compassion to others and never get enough nurturing in return. They have many friends but few intimate, nourishing relationships.

That sums it up for me. I think you guys know me better than anyone in my life except for my kids.

I'm glad I have you. I might even jump in one of these days and lose this extra weight, lol.

It's like you are watching me or something. This is a really good post and I look forward to more.

One more thing, when I was out there using i thought I was so different from everyone else. The longer I stay sober I realize as an addict I am just like every other addict and not I am realizing that with my codependency also... alot of AHA moments lately (Oprah would be proud LOL)
