| Not Doing Well
Hi, One of my problems that I think contributes to my over eating is I have been having problems sleeping for the past 3 months. I go in and out of this and I take ambien (non barbituate but still habit forming somehow) to get me over a hump. Unfortunately I'm way beyond my need to go off of it. When I don't sleep I get sick. When I sleep on ambien I don't get a deep sleep but I get enough so I don't get sick. But this is the longest ever and I am full of anxiety and haven't gotten a deep sleep for many days in a row. I'm also in charge of a ton of Christmas events as I'm an employee of a church and I plan the events. Anyway, I'm burned out and bummed out. I need to sleep. I've stuffed myself today and I am a very unhappy tired person right now. Guess I just need to write it. I do have the opportunity to go away for a few days after this weekend. NOrmally we have to not take any time off during December because it is so busy for us. But, I can usually get off the ambien if I go away and let myself sleep without the ambien. Oops, time for another rehearsal. Blessings, Devi Last edited by Devi; 12-09-2004 at 07:20 PM. Reason: use my real name again!! |

((((((Devi)))))) Something I do every now and then to get my sleep back on track is to stay up for 36 hours, in other words, skip a night's sleep. Then usually I'm tired enough to fall asleep naturally the next night and I get back into a more regular natural cycle. Just an idea... Wish you the best, of course! Love and hugs, Eddie
