Sat. what are you all doing?

It's been real quiet around here.....

While the boards are going through some settling and adjustments....I'll just be working in here, patiently waiting for you all to find your way back and check in. Maybe do a little redecorating.......first I think I will start with hiding all the scales from everyone. Maybe if you don't see those nasty things hanging around you won't be afraid to come hang out here...lol

Well, actually the past few days have been pretty good for me. I have been sticking to a pretty healthy food plan....that is that when I have chosen to eat I have been making some pretty good choices.

I have been very faithful with an excerise routine also. I did get to pilates the other night, and have been using my new Lateral slider everyday. And boy do I feel it. Yes, ladies, it does work....well, I haven't lost anything yet...but I feel it working some of those target areas that it talks about, my thighs (inside and out), my calves....and my lower abs...basically from the waist down is getting a workout. And then the pilates for those areas also and the rest.

My attitude has improved....I think...I do feel better. And attitude is everything. My group has our first performance coming up next Sat. evening and I am getting a bit nervous about it, but excited as well. There's supposed to be lots of people from work going to watch us. eeekkkk! That's what makes me nervous. So much so that I almost back out...but I'm going through with it. Afterall it's for the kids!

Anyway, that's my update for the moment. Feel free to jump in here and share your thoughts!

Oh, Pony!! Your first performance will be so exciting. Forget the kids...WE want to be there, LOL. We WILL be there, in spirit. I'll be the one clapping and yelling "encore"!! This is so exciting for you.

You inspire me, Pony, to get back to a good eating plan. I lost all the weight I wanted and actually was alarmed a little to see the scales continue to drop, but I haven't been eating as much or as often as I should. Talk about a complete reversal in my bad habits. I just haven't been all that hungry and have got out of the habit of snacking.

BUT...right now I am chowing down on left over pizza, LOL, and heading to the BBQ from Hell (company obligation ugh), so I will be returning here to catch my whipping and get back on track.

It has been quiet, but soon it will be time for the calorie/carb-wise Christmas recipes

Hugs
Ann

Thanks Ann, and I love that avatar.........sort of gets you in the spirit of the season...Fall....it looks so peaceful, wish I were standing there right now.

I hope that you didn't have too much of a horrible time at the BBQ from hell...lol...

and, as for carb Christmas recipes...if you have any or find any....post them so we can get a collection going.!!!! I have some halloween/fall recipes that I will be posting through out the season.

We need to get things going here. Get the spirit up around here!
