My daughter attended a birthday party this afternoon....it was one of those bowling parties. Anyway, the bolwing alley they were at has a snack shop that makes the best french fries.....mmmmmmm! So, I kept thinking about them all day....but when I go there and was sitting there watching her and her friends bowl......I drank water instead!!!! I didn't go near that snack shop and waited til I got home and made a sensible chicken dinner. I did however down about three cups of water while sitting there! I did what you said Paulie....everytime I thought about getting up to go get some of those fries, I took a drink of water! Thanks for being there with me!!

Oh I can sooo relate to that Pony. I'm okay planning what food to have available in the house, but when I get out somewhere where the smell of something realllly good is calling my name, I am vulnerable and need to be able to find something else to distract me. You did well to get past that and stick to the water!!!! And you're right about choices....we CAN choose to pass on the temptation. Hugs Ann

Thanks Ann, I am rather proud of myself for not giving in. It would have tasted good, but then I would have been down on myself for eating them and defeating my own goals. Like I tell others, when they are trying to convince me to take a bite of something I don't need, I am not putting all this work into myself and going to the gym for nothing!! I want progress....and fries and cake ain't goin' to get me there!!!!
