| Family picnic !
Well, I have a family picnic today. Lots of visiting....lots of fun....lots of food!!! I am wearing a brand new outfit today, though, in hopes of reminding myself of the work that I have already put into my program so as not to overdue it on the food. Sometimes in these little gatherings we find ourselves having fun that you don't realize how much food you have already snack away even befre the main BBQ'd meat gets done and ready. You know!!? I already did a little workout this morning before getting my day started. Now I'm off to pick up my little granddaughter....because my daughter, being new on the job, has to work today and can't come. Hope everyone else has a great day....it is beautiful here....mild temps......clear blue sky!

Have fun Pony!!! You will probably stay busy chasing your granddaughter around and that will burn off calories, LOL. But I know what you mean about the snacks before eating...it's these kinds of occasions that draw me in every time. I love the idea about wearing the new outfit!!

Hey, you aren't kidding about having to chase her around......and my own 7 yr. old. Although my daughter is trying to help it really does make more work for me. I am running so far behind in getting htings ready for the BBQ......right now I am waiting for my dish that I am being to finish cooking. It's not one that I can throw on the grill. It has just been one busy weekend.....so I came here to calm down a bit.

Well the family picnic was great fun. I was so busy cooking and trying to keep track of my granddaughter and my daughter that I didn't even time to really snack on anything. So I did pretty good there. Everyone had a good time visiting and such.....no family arguments.....all the kids behaved....it was great!! When I finally got home, after dropping the g-daughter off, and my little one was off to bed......I laid on my bed and didn't want to move. My body was throbbing from my shoulders to my toes...!!! Man what a day...and I must have used every muscle in my body. So, Monday, I did nothing.....except take my little one to the pool for about three hrs. lol I was in the water for a good part of that time just doing some water excerise movements. I know it much be working because I could feel it in some of my target areas. But for the most part I relaxed most of the day!!! Now it's time to get ready and off to work!! Another day has begun! Hope you all had a great weekend too.

Sounds wonderful Pony! I guess if you did have a few extra calories you certainly exercised them off. Hugs!
