That is cool, too. And I guess I'm not allowed to go for 2.5 pounds a week according to that. I will have to wait until Aug 27 to be perfect.

Re: This is horrifying... but fun?

Okay wait a minute they give me a 30 pound range for my ideal weight... I don't think so. And I am supposed to consume 3000 calories a day to lose 1 pound a week.

Does that mean if I consuem 1000 calories a day I can lose 3 pounds a week????

Re: This is horrifying... but fun?

No. Read the 2nd page. At 1000 calories a day you could be in big trouble. The thirty pound range depends on how large or small boned you are and how much muscle you have. I, for instance, would look like a scarecrow at the bottom of my weight range. I am what is kindly called a "big strapping girl".

After I read that I had to force myself to eat. LOL And I still HAVE to eat 300 more calories today. The chart SAID SO.

Re: This is horrifying... but fun?

That is what I mean, at the bottom of that range I would look like I did when I was using. At that time in my life I weighed from 104 - 125, size 2/4 to 6/8. I have no illusion of ever looking like that again. I am 5'8", another 26 from where I am now and I will be good!!!! and that is above their range.

I know about the 1000 calories I was kidding, but wow, just seems like alot.

Re: This is horrifying... but fun?

It does seem like a lot when you're counting. I just figured out how much I must have been eating to gain all this weight. I thought "noooooooo".... then I started thinking about what I typically ate. Yeeeeeeees. 1400 calories a day is less than half of what I was eating before. And yet.... I'm going to have to really MAKE myself eat the last 300 calories. Awareness is a powerful thing, huh?

Re: This is horrifying... but fun?

I just want to get my chin done. When I was thirty I promised myself that when I was forty I would get my chin done. Then Dino descended on me and when I was 40 I didn't have any money to get my chin done. Maybe when I'm 50. Sigh.

Re: This is horrifying... but fun?

There are a few spots I would like done, after I lose my weight, I would never do it to lose weight, I dont' think they can lipo your entire body!! But for the money, I don't think I will ever do it. I would really like to get my arms done, they just don't want to get smaller. My moms entire side of her family has big arms, even the thinner people have flabby arms!!!!!

that would be a nice 50 present for yourself Smoke if that is what you want.

Re: This is horrifying... but fun?

Well it makes me feel better about only losing a pound or so a week now. But it makes me wonder where the first 18 pounds came from...organs? muscles? water? 18 pounds of anything is a lot, and I was really hoping it would be fat.

At my present weight I fit in the range, but if I were at the bottom of the range I would be a skinny Minnie. Like Smoke, I'm rarely referred to as a "tiny" woman LOL.

You know what's weird? My bra size is down a cup. I bought the wrong size by mistake and it fit perfectly. Now I always was a bit bodacious and can afford the loss, but I wonder what I lost there...surely not fat???

Re: This is horrifying... but fun?

I was confused about calculating the minutes of activity. I spend about an hour working out and a couple of hours driving, cleaning and those sorts of things. I am glad I am at work and have a calculator for the remaining hours that I spend daydreaming. I can eat 2100 calories and loose a pound a week and my BMI is within the healthy range. I think they give you points for age :LMAO The low weight for me is 121...I think I saw that at about 16 ( am I am sure at 16 I thought I was fat). At 5' 7" if I weighed that I am sure someone would try sticking a tube down my nose!!
