| Ate popcorn & feel ugh... :(
Ugh, promised I'd watch a DVD with my son tonight (trying to do more stuff with him since I stopped drinking). He asked if I'd make popcorn so I did. I made a small bowl of it and I picked at some of it with him to try and be a more 'normal' mother. But, oh lord, I feel so damn bloated and disgusting after it. He's asleep now and all I want to do is get it out of me. I can't make myself vomit due to a non-existent gag reflex (which I appreciate is a blessing in disguise). Oh, I'm in a state here ![]() ![]() I feel completely disgusting, bloated and dirty and just want to rip my skin off. My stomach hurts so bad. I'm sorry about this tantrum - this AN bulls**t drives me completely insane and irrational. I just wanted to get the thoughts out of my head somewhere. Aaaagh! 20+ years of this BS.

Thank you Liferecovery Even though it's horrible to think of anyone else going through this, it's nice to know I'm not alone. Feeling a little calmer about it today, although I'm convinced I can still feel that popcorn in my stomach (even though I know that's not possible). Trying to make myself eat little bits today because otherwise I'll just end up craving alcohol. Thanks again Liferecovery ![]() M x

I don't know much, but I do know focusing on just this minute, hour or day is helpful. Good for you for eating regularly throughout the day. You are worth all this hard work you are doing now. Keep it up. |
