I'm here!

Well, no body been around here for a few days, so I thought I would pop in here and just say a few words.

It's the weekend and I'm feeling pretty good. My car is still down, He's been working on it but so far....well it's still sick. I have faith that he and his friend will find the problem eventually and fix it. One of my older daughters come over yesterday so I got to visit with her and my grandbaby. It's so exciting my little 8 1/2 mo.old little angel is starting to walk, on her own out into the middle of the room. She takes a few steps and then down she goes, but she getting there. She is so much like my youngest daughter here; she also walked early.
Then last night we went to the house of one of the people my other half works with to watch the "big fight" on pay per view. There was about four other couples there. Had a good time. My S/O won the little side pool we had going on how long the fight would last, but he redonated the money back to our gracious hosts....to help cover the cost of the fight and food and stuff. He great that way. Always willing to contribute on our behalf, he can be a real sweetheart.
Then today I went to breakfast with a girlfriend and now I am having a quiet afternoon with my little one.

I was very proud of myself that I did not stuff myself at the dinner last night. There was so much great yummies out on the table for the taking, but I limited myself and I felt good. I even still had a bit of desert and it was, OK. It felt especially good this morning when I put on a pair of shorts that I haven't worn for seven years and they fit just right. NOT TIGHT! Yay!

I still have alot of challanages happening with my life and some stresses, but I feel right now I am just taking them in stride.

Well that's about it. Thanks for listening/reading. lol

Hey Pony -

Good to hear from you, and glad to hear you are doing okay.

Me too, just taking it one day at a time.

Started a new routine at the gym last week, had a hard time walking for a couple days so thought I would go back to the work out avatar - LOL.

Missed you.

Hey Pauline,

Thanks for coming back to me. I can always count on you to be here. Sometimes it's so quiet down here, not many visitors, I feel like I'm talking to myself. lol I do enough of that in my car/bus (when I 'm alone) LOL

Congrats on your new routine. It is good to zip it up a bit and change things to work new areas. Since you were sore I know that you know what that means. I am going to try to get a routine going here at home since my memebership to the gym is gone for the momment. Financial reasons. I got to get back there though because I miss it a great deal. But I'm not going to let all my hard work from the summer and what I have already lost go to waste. I hope not anyway!!!!!!!!
I have a sort of plan to keep me in line; that is that I will not wear any of my big pants. I want to try to continue to wear the size I just dropped down into and not put on the bigger size clothes ie: pants or shorts, and hope that it will remind me to do what I need to. What do you think? It might work! lol

Hugs,

Thanks I will definately need nudging!!!

I actually have a lot of good workout tapes and some years ago (before being pregnant) I had worked out a pretty good routine that I was getting results from so I may give that I try also. I know my girlfriend that joined they gym because of me and we were going together is pretty bummed because I'm not going with her at the momment, but soon maybe. I really do enjoy going and using the elipical (I think that what you call it) machine. It's really easy on the knees but you burn lots of calories. More than on the tread mill.

Thanks for your help and support.

Kid,

I know how good that feels to put on something that fits again after you haven't been able to wear it. Something like that can make my day. 81/2 months is early to be walking. I know your grandbaby is just adorable.

I went to a wedding on Sunday, and did well with my eating. The food was delicious, but I didn't eat all that was on my plate. I did have the dessert, it was a Chocolate Mousse Pyramid drizzled with Mango and Raspberry Sauce. OMG, it was so delicious. It looked just like a small pyramid. It wasn't a huge portion and I did eat it all, but I did not eat any wedding cake.

Yep, it was pretty tasty.

Even more tastier was the fresh crab I picked up the other day. I probably shouldn't be talking about this, but my daughter loves crab, and so do I. It has to very fresh though, none of that fresh-frozen stuff.

There a seafood place that specialized in fresh crabs, so I picked one up and we had it for dinner drizzled with melted butter.

OH, YUMMMMMMM!

I too, love crab. Crab is pretty good for you except for that butter. Hummm. Well, that's ok, just follow it up with a nice garden salad. LOL
