Good stuff Fubar! Good to hear that your wife is joining you, it makes mealtimes a lot easier when you're working together on a diet plan together. My vacation is coming up next week. It'll be a challenge to stay away from peach and pecan pies while we're in Georgia but I'll abstain no matter what. I'm not even going to try to avoid the fried seafood and hush puppies though!

I have nothing on the go today that will put me in a position of temptation. Still fighting to get rid of that last inch on my belly. It has never been gone but I figure that if I am ever going to do it this will be the year since I quit drinking and don't have all those beer calories maintaining it. I am OS free for another day.

Thanks again for the senses of humor that are shown here...When I'm smiling, I am more joyful and more understanding than when I am too serious. We went out for dinner for my son's birthday yesterday and both my wife and I passed on the dessert and after bill candies. The birthday boy was the only one to have dessert. It was $8 so this OS free thing goes well with my EC ( extremely cheap ) attitude.

Summer beach party...table of desserts...a musically-tight band thats doing great vocals...dancing in the sand to most songs in each set...probably burned more OS calories than I OS ingested...but I do want to be OS sober today. Hope you all had a nice weekend!! I did ok in the food department and got a lot done around the house. My kitchen will be closing for the evening in a short while. This helps me subconsciously know that when it's closed, it's done for the night, and so am I. I will have a hot cup of herbal tea soon to cap off the day. Good night!

It is a lovely day here today in Hogtown and I am looking forward to my walk this afternoon. I will pass the multitude of donut shops and snub my nose at them.

Had a table full of desserts at the house yesterday, I passed on all of them and even laid off the salty stuff for the most part. Took the leftovers to the AA club, my fellows enjoyed them. Glad to hear from you all.

No sweets for me but I did have some french fries last night when my son took me out for Fathers day dinner. I didn't feel like getting up today and I am blaming the french fries.

An OS my wife bought is sitting on the kitchen counter and I caved in. I should put the OS under her pillow and let it ooze. I like Cali's "The kitchen is closed." I am being honest on my count, but I need to control what I put in my mouth...otherwise it's in vain, I think. You guys are a riot!! ![]() I am sort of resentful that my husband HAS to have icecream everytime our daughter does!! I am hoping that he'll jump on board with me-OS free etc, but he isn't ready. I know that HE has to want it. Hey Fub, BTW--I think the inches from your belly transferred right over to his!! lol I am in it to the very best of my ability today! I have started eating things here and there that I wouldn't normally, not OS, but higher in carb--and I too feel more sluggish. Have a wonderful day-the sun is finally shining here, hope it is for you all too~~

I'm OS free today, but caved in to the salty snacks last night. Time to jump back on the wagon

I am have to walk today during lunch. The nice thing about my job is that I can leave for lunch, and eat at my desk at some point here and there between whatever I am doing. I just have to make the commitment to do it. It's almost July, and we haven't seen the sun much at all yet...it's been mostly high 60's. I guess it's going to be one of these summers where BAM it's 90. ok I am done rambling!

Welcome Jaman. If you want to be added to the list just give a shout out and Jack will have you on the list and committed in no time. I mean committed to the challenge and not just committed. We are not crazy here. ![]() Yesterday was hard for me. My son came over to get his birthday presents and my wife bought a treatza Pizza for him from Dairy Queen. For those unfamiliar with DQ it is a pizza ice cream treat with a soft yet firm crumb type chocolate base and a layer of hard ice cream mixed with a caramel sauce and chocolate bits. Everyone had a piece but I woefully declined went into the other room and punched the wall. I hope there are no temptations around today as after 30 days the treats are starting to call my name.
