Eating Disorder Treatment Center - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

Hey Guys

I am a food addict, and complusive over eater. Everything i have tried i have failed... i just made an appointment to go to an eating disorder treatment center.. the program is going to be 3 days a week for 4 hours each day, and they say you take part in therapy, group and nutrion.. i was just wondering has anyone ever done this kind of treatment?

I've done several IOP's I think they are great! It can be scary at first, but it tends to get easier as time goes on.

Hi RisingSun. I am also a food addict & a compulsive overeater. I have never been to a treatment center, but if I were younger than I am, I believe that I would like to try one. I applaud you for your courage to reach out for help. It sounds promising. Please keep us informed of your progress & your experiences as you go through this new endeavor.
