Hi! im new to the site, and ill do a little background on myself...

Im 24, and my whole life i have struggled with my weight. i go through severe gains and losses quite frequently. i eat compulsively. I also have been diagnosed with BiPolar, and have just been prescribed a medication for it. But the eating is what im working on right now, it's my comfort, and all too often, i eat without realizing it, thus my problem. just looking for some support while im trying to turn my life around!

I would like to welcome you here. this is a good place to get support from those that share in the same issues.

I am an emotional overeater. I am currantly working on getting back on track with my food. It is a lifetime challange for me. Without the support from others, I would most likely still be on the road to total destruction.

Did you happen to see the article in PEOPLE magazine that was about 3 women who met on the internet and lost over 350lbs total? I caught a segment on ELLEN about it.
