Well I haven't really posted much the last few days. So I thought I would check in here and see how everything is going. How is everyone doing? My weekend went pretty smooth. We bought my little one a new bed, on Sat. and put it up today. It's a captains type with lots of storage, which is greatly needed for all her stuff that we spoil her with.....lol That's what happens when you're the youngest...the last....and have an older sister that just love to buy for you. Well we buy stuff also. Then also today I babysat with my little granddaughter, so her mommy and daddy could get out and spend alone time together. I am so not used to having to do baby stuff, like changing diapers and feeding and stuff........not that all that experience didn't kick in when needed....just not used to it lol Well you can tell my weekend was very uneventful, I'm posting about new beds and changing diapers.......pretty sad I guess. But I really enjoyed the peacefullness of all that dullness. Tomorrow starts my last week of regular work. School will be out soon and then I have a week off...!!! Yea!!! Then summer school starts and I will be driving the newest bus in the yard. It's my trial run. If I do good at keeping it spotless they will assign it to me in the fall. It's a new CMG fuel type bus that I will have to learn all about and how to hook it up to the pump for refueling. It's supposed to be a cleaner burning type fuel. They have been trying them out on commercial vehicles here in CA. Well anyway I guess I have rambled enough. Time for bed. Hope everyone has a great start to their week. Pony

Hello all........ I had no crisis but that of my own making, which amounted to facing feelings I had been covering up with food. We did nothing special this weekend either, but I got to do some deep house cleaning that needed to be done (oven). (yuck) I am excited for you Pony, when we get new equipment at work I can't wait to try it out. I hope your new bus works well for you. Will your hours change for the summer? We have a week off between the regular school year and summer school. I hope everyone has a good week regarding their eating and all their programs. One day at a time Antreeta |

The getting assigned to the new equipment around our yard is also the sign that you are moving up in seniority. As far as my hours go......they don't really change much. I am considered a 4 hr. employee now (then I do as much as I can of extra hrs. to make it a full day) and in the summer everyone is moved to 4hr. routes. So I don't really lose anything there, but the extra hrs. aren't as much. But I work as much as I can to get it in. And I'll have a week off between regular and summer school also. I'm going to spend it doing stuff with my little one as much as I can.
