Food Addicts Anonymous Thanksgiving Phone Marathon Meetings

Starting at 8pm eastern time on Wednesday November 21 and running for 27 hours until Midnight on Thursday November 22 Thanksgiving Day there will be Food Addicts Anonymous meetings every hour. Dial 712-451-6100 and when you get in put in the pin number 7393 plus the pound sign (#) follow that by the number 1. That is the regular phone number for FAA phone meetings if you want to check them out before then. Check out the FAA website for hours of the regular phone meetings. They are pretty amazing--- in addition to about 10 states being represented at this morning's meeting, there were also people from Korea, Germany and Sweden. Food addiction is universal!

I know Thanksgiving can be a difficult time combining family and lots of food but I am living proof that you don't have to blow your abstinence. I relied heavily on the phone marathon meeting last year to get me through and we did it together! As I read the posts on this page, I read many people who are struggling with their food and this might be one more tool to use to get them through.

I lost track....are you the one who abstains from processed sugar...flour...etc? If not, my apologies...I remember someone on one of the threads who has abstained completely from unhealthy food choices.

Will start at 7pm eastern time on December 24 and run straight through until midnight December 25 and the following week start at 7pm December 31 and run until midnight on January 1, 2008.
