Yes, there is an effect on the intimacy in my life. But whether it is me that makes me feel undesirable or others (men with their fantasy dream girl illusions) is a question. Another one that I want to process out in my head and get back to you on.

It absolutely has an effect on me! Not only am I self conscious about my weight, but it's not as comfortable now as it was when I was a healthy weight (sorry for TMI)...

Definitely! I just don't feel good about my body! And, the truth is that even now that I have lost most of the weight, the damage has been done and I will never look right. My husband doesn't care, but I do. It stinks!

Being overweight has affected the intimacy in my marriage completely. It has had the same affect on my husband, I believe. We are both very ashamed of our bodies and now we have our age factored in. It's devastating to my marriage of almost 33 yrs.
