Hi stormy, Welcome Back. Is your avatar a real picture of your new baby? So, so precious. I'm glad that you're back and really ready to do the deal. I hope that you'll come back here often and keep us updated on what you've decided and how you're doing. I know others will be along soon to support you. Stormy, welcome back to this forum. Congrats on your new baby, he's adorable. The question of rehab at this point and time... well, I think you have to ask yourself this question..... You waited 13 yrs. to decide to go..... would putting it off til your son was older change your mind about going into rehab? And, how long would you wait again to go...???

Tough call. I think I'm in the minority in saying that you may want to wait a bit. Depending on how much credence you give the variety of attachment theories out there, it may make a difference to spend time with your son for the beginning weeks/months. It may take some time to get into treatment anyway, so it could be less of an issue. I'd say to do some research about possible treatment options, and then go from there. -p

I mean was there ever a point where you just got sick of it..I literally avoid eating more than one meal a day now just because I don't want to trigger my urge to purge

Were you throwing up during your pregnancy? I'm kind of with Ped on this one, I would at least try intense out patient first, and then consider my options. But that's me, do what you think is best for yourself and your little one.
