Rachael, Welcome to you. Glad to have you here. Well the one thinkg you can look at is that that say is over with and a new days begins. Don't beat yourself up over it, just start a new. One day at a time is all that one can handle. Tomorrow will take care of it's self. Write some more about yourself so we can get to know you. Pony

Hey Rachel - Pony is right, today is a new day! I have done what you did more times than I want to remember, and sometimes I even carried it on for a few days, saying to myself "screw it, I already messed up' and did it again the next day. I had to stop beating myself and remember that I am just a person trying to deal with my addictions/compulsions whatever you want to call them, one day at a time. You are worth more than you think you are, I can promise you that. We all are. Take it one day at a time, and yes, it is a NEW DAY!

| Hi Rachael
the thing i have learned in recovery is this......you can start your day over any time you choose to. so in that i suffer from a pretty bad purging problem, i have to be really careful about what i ingest cuz i want to completely stop this purging cycle. so when i feel like i am getting out of control, i try, doesn't always work, to stop right there and begin again. that's how i have to do it. i don't put myself in sticky situations. don't lounge around doing nothing. get yourself busy, comsume your time. if you're watching tv, take up a different hobby other than eating. Knit, crochet, needlepoint, you know? get your hands busy so they aren't consumed with going to your mouth. sounds hard but i find that if i do stuff i'm less inclined to munch. good to see pony and pauline. hope everyone is doing well.
