| Depressed Weight Gain
The past 2 weeks I have gone from 150 pounds to 156 pounds. I don't understand where the weight is coming from. I am not eating much of anything and am excersing. I am beyond depressed right now. I do not feel bloated. So, I do not think it is water gain. I do not think it has to do with my period coming up because I already just had one. This weight gain has me very upset right now.. |

Vomiting makes you gain weight. Bulimia is not a weight loss method that works, it will lead to weight gain. It doesn't get rid of the calories, and your body starts to hold onto everything more than it would if you were not purging. ((((.....))))

When I gain weight fast, it is often my body holding onto water/fluids. Also, as noted above, my body has a survival mechanism to help us during times of great need... the ability to conserve energy and calories when it thinks it is starving. The help for this is (generally) to eat regular, small meals. Reduce or eliminate snacking. Increase exercise. (((hugs)))
