| Exhausted
Hi all Well it's happening again i cannot sleep, i've not had a good nights sleep for almost a week and am feeling really exhausted. I guess i'm fearful of feeling like this as last time i got diagnosed with anxiety depression. I've not got any other symptoms though that go along with it so maybe i just need to sleep. I know there are alot of things on my mind at the moment, childrens exams, daugther starting college, mothers day and forthcoming holiday to America. I guess what i feeling is a little overwhelmed by it all and maybe repsonsible for it all. (Want to be the perfect mom, I know its an illusion - lol) Anyhow its lovely to get this out of my head before i head off to work, thanks for all being here to listen.

Here's a test you can take to look at some of your behaviors that may be interfering with your sleep. http://discoveryhealth.queendom.com/...bridged_1.html I hope it helps. And here's an article on sleep hygiene that may help you choose better behaviors. I wish you a good night's sleep! ![]() Shalom!

Hi Biscuits, I don't have any suggestions. I just hope that you can be able to get some sleep really soon. Is there any kind of medication that you are taking that could have the side effect of insomnia? Just a thought.

Hi, Biscuits, Have you been able to get some sleep? I have been there re the insomnia and now and then it hits me, but lately I'm glad it's less often. Lack of sleep in itself can lead to anxiety-depression regardless what's going on. You certainly have a lot to be thinking about. Those are all big things. Especially identify with daughter leaving for college. Our youngest is in his freshman year and it hasn't been easy, many challenges. Ha, and here I thought we were doing great to get him through h.s., LOL. If the insomnia continues be sure to talk to your dr. There are many helps out there these days. Maybe a vigorous walk would help you relax? Good luck and let us know how you are. |

Hi All Thanks for your support over the last few days, still not sleeping any better at the moment but i am looking after myself best i can. I took a sick day at work on Friday as i got up feeling totally exhausted and really emotional, slept on and off all day (real progress in having time off, find this really hard to do). I am realising that there are times duirng the day when i get really tired so if i am at home i do try to nap, it helps a little. I have made an appointment with my GP which i really didn't want to do, so fearful of being in depression again but i am willing to put the action in and leave the result to God. Will check your suggestions sometime today, when i've got a brain thats awake and can absorb information.
