Well, I'm back, but what happened here? Di everyone else go on vacation too? I was hoping t come back and have lots to get caught up on. Oh well, I'm here, back home where I belong. It was a sweet and bitter time. I did really great on getting water down. Not hard to do when it's 112 degrees out day or night. But, unfortunately I over did it at the buffets. All that good food! But I did do lots of walking in and out of the casinos and down the river walk. So anyway I am glad to be home. I think I will check in on the other forums. Pony

Hiya Pony! Pauline's not back yet, Julia reported she was in kind of a funk a few days ago and I guess nobody else wanted to play until you came home. Welcome back! Hugs, Smoke

Hi guys - I am back too. Returned to CA Saturday night, spent yesterday doing laundy and cleaning house, funny how brooms don't work when the woman of the house is gone , but it is okay. I am happy to be home. Thought about you guys alot, but was not near a computer. the first leg of the trip in NYC, I did great and walked miles and miles around the city (what a wonderful place). The second leg, visiting a friend in CT, I did good there to. The third leg, the last 6 days in ME. Okay let me say just one word - potatoes!!!! ME is a potatoe state and boy do they serve them everywhere you go and twice the size servings as here in CA. I don't think I gained any weight if I did it could only be a pound or two. I sure did not lose any - and the water thing, nope did not happen. but I am home now and looking forward to getting back on track. I realized about a week into the trip after not drinking water/liquid again how much my body felt different. Those few weeks before I left when I was trying hard with you to drink the water, made my body feel different. So I am home and ready to jump back on the water wagon, I need all of your help, so I am asking for it. I was so uncomfortable on the place because of the weight I have gained in the last two years (since my last trip in 2000). I don't want to feel like this and I know it is affecting my health. I have worked to hard to be sober to let food get me now. I am asking for support and I know I can get it here. Thank you all for still being here. I just realized I probably should have started another thread instead of responding to this one, but oops, sorry. Glad to be home!!!

Smoke - I did have a wonderful time!! but it was too long, by the end of the trip (16 days total) I was so tired that I had forgotten what a great time I had during the first week, ya know what I mean? I had a great time in NYC seeing the sites. Then I went on to CT and ME and visited with dear friends. but there truly is 'no place like home'!!. Raising a glass to you also.
