Hi Shana,
I'm sorry to hear that you're having such a hard time. When I have sugar, it makes me crave more sugar. The longer that I am without sugar, the less I crave sugar. That's just me, though. For us women, the sugar cravings get worse at a certain time of the month, too. Maybe that could be the problem, right now.

Maybe others will be along soon to try and help you to understand why this is happening to you and what you can do about it. Keep coming back.

Hey Shana, yeah, it's hard to get away from that sugar. yikes...I am attempting to do that now. Or at least most of it. I know that when I did it before, the longer I went without it, it did get easier to the point where I did not dream about it my every waking moment.

I started by getting my self off any candy, like chocolate or that wasn't sugar free. Whenever I felt like I needed something sweet, I would go see what they had in the suagrfree section. Most of that has been improved in taste and is pretty good.

ditto, and ditto.

as an ex HEAVY drinker (whiskey at that), i've had a horrible time with sugar cravings. i yearn for it, and once i've had some, i lose all control... eerily similiar to drinking issues.

i've learned to trick my body into thinking it's getting it's sugar by eating sugar-free or no sugar added treats. i consume massive quantities of sugar-free jello with sugar free cool whip.. sugar-free baskin robbins mint chocolate chip hard candies are REALLY good.. sugar free wafers.. no sugar added vanilla frozen yogurt.. and of course, fruit is always good.. and not the canned stuff that sits in a gallon of syrupy sugar...

Yep, ditto.....with me I have been on the diet wagon and off, and now being on again.....yes I am cutting out all sugar. It is hard, VERY hard. But does get much easier as time goes on. You just have to get to that point, just remember you only have to make it one minute at a time if you need to.
