Hi everyone, Yes I am doing ok. I have been pretty busy with work and very tired at night that I have just been going to bed instead of getting on the computer. I have been trying to establish more of a routine around here in the evening for my little one, which is not easy livig with an alcoholic, but not impossible either. It has been coming about pretty nicely so far. Since she has been speading her wings a bit and playing with friends outside of home we have had to establish the playtime cut off time so to have dinner, bath, and then bed time at a better hour. We had been eating dinner very late, which is not good, and then she was getting to bed later then I wanted her to. She has to get up at 6 am, since I have an early morning job, and go to pre-school. Sorry I haven't been on much I do need to get caught up. Taking all this time out to organize myself and family sure does take up a lot of my time these days. I am NOT by nature an organized person. But we're trying. I am also expecting the arrival of my first grandchld. It will be anyday now. And I must say thanks for missing me. I guess I didn't realize how long I haven't been on here. OOPpps! I'll do some reading up here and get caught up. Hugs to all, Pony

Whoa there KidPony, You have a little one, and your expecting a grandchild? That's as good as me. I have two, twenty years apart, by two weeks. A 25 year old son, and a 5 year old daughter. I'm glad to hear your allright. I was beginning to worry since we hadn't heard from you in so long. I was about to e-mail Pernell, or Jons to see if they knew what was up. I can relate about needing to plan and organize your evening so your little one gets everything in and gets to bed at a decent hour. My daughter is in kindergarten, and I am dealing with that. Plus she tends to be a little night owl, like her mother. She also has her stalling methods, like right when it's time for bed she says she's hungry, so I have built a snack time into the bedtime routine. I know it's a stall tactic, but my daughter was born a premie, and at 5 only weighs 30 pounds. She eats a good dinner, but whenever she says she is hungry I am more than happy to feed her. Good, healthy, nutritious food. ![]() Juls |
