Hey

Hi all I know I have not been here in awhile but I am still here. Past 2 weeks I have been skipping meals again. So hard to break it once it starts. This time I started beause one I have been hanging around a guy and i Have not had good experiences with guys and I don't trust 98% of guys. So it has been hard. Two my 21 b-day is next week. I am not sure what I am doing for my b-day but I am not going to a bar no way. I am not drinking. I hope no one asks me to have a drink or go drinking. Having depression and on medicine, alcoholism in my family at least 2 generation, my eating disorder I do not need alcoholism on too of that. A lot of stress with school and life in general. I am still going with the help of Dan the dean of religious life here on campus. Just wanted to update you and know that I am still here.

HI Pony hope all is well with you

Shana

OH Shana, I am glad I check in here before having to run off to work !! I happy to see you posting. I know things can get challanging dealing with uncomfortable situations but you have the tools inside you, lady, and I have a great deal of faith in you to use them. You don't have to drink alcohol to celebrate your 21 st. birthday..... it is a special celebrated birthday amongst most....but it is a coming of age into adult years where you make those choices..... you know, the ones that prove you are mature and responsible. Be your person, Shana. You're a pretty awesome young lady. Be true to yourself !!

Hugs

Hi Shana...

...sounds like a good plan you have there with the no drinking. Wish I could have done the same... my 21st birthday was a night to forget.

Sending prayers for strength. ((((hugs)))

Hi Shana,
Good to hear from you again. I hope that you have a wonderful 21st birthday and I'm very impressed that you are responsible enough to make a wise choice to not drink on that day. As for the skipping meals, it sounds like you lose your appetite when you get nervous. If that's the case, then maybe you aren't remembering that it's time for you to eat because you don't get hungry. Have you tried setting an alarm of some kind to remind you that it's time to eat just a little something just for health purposes, every three hours. I was just thinking that maybe if you treated the healthy food like it was your medication for feeling healthy, you might be able to eat a little bit of something every three hours and you might find yourself feeling alot better. Just my 2 cents. ((((((((((Comforting Hugs)))))))))))))
