I'm gotten rid of 14 Pounds

Hi all

I have gotten rid of 14 pounds. I have been on WW since Aug 4th have had one slip but still 14 pounds...I am so happy with that but I still look at how much more I have to go and get frustrated.

Wife,
Congrats on the weight loss. It sounds wonderful. I know that it's frustrating when we look at how far we have to go, but I've learned to just focus on how healthy that I feel just for today. I just wanted to feel, look & be as healthy as I can be today, because this is who I am right now and the past is gone and we have no promise of tomorrow. Today is all that is important. One day at a time, we will look and feel better and better if we just keep focusing on doing the most healthy things that we can do for ourselves today. Keep on keepin' on and you'll be glad you did. Keep coming back here.

wife,

Yes, 14 lbs, is very awesome. I too, understand those frustrations of what still has to be done.... I have many lbs to go before my goal is reached, but Nina is right. You have to focus on today. What it takes, for me to be healthy today. Tomorrow will take care of it'self. It's too overwhelming for me to think of how much I have to lose and how long it may take to accomplish it. Day by day, meal by meal is all I can handle.

I have set myself up for 20 pound goals so it puts me in the right mind set. This way I have "only" 6 pounds until I reach my goal! One other thing that I do is use got rid of the weight in the place of lose weight because when I lose something I want to go and replace it. I just can't think of how many sets of 20 I have...uugghh

Hello His Wife

I am also on Weight watchers I have been on WW since February 20, 2006. I really enjoy this program. Mainly because I can eat anything that I want.

What has really worked for me is setting goals as you are doing, I set very little goals, I couldnt wait to see 160 and then 150. That kept me going!!!

You may want to go to WW on line, you can go to the community boards there for free, there is alot of support and they also swap recipes that are weight watcher friendly. Are you on the point system or the core??

I want to welcome you and I am wishing you skinny vibes...
