My nephew AJ was born at 1:30 this morning, 5 lbs. 2 oz. but I just got told that his lungs aren't fully developed. AJ cannot breathe on his own and he is being transported to another hospital. The doctor said that he will probably get worse. Please remember this family and especially little AJ in your prayers. I know that it is in God's hands now.

Prayers for AJ and his mom.

Preeme babies are born with underdeveloped lungs at times.
A baby at 5 lbs or more is a good thing. He will drop some and start to gain again. preeme care has grown so much over the past years that he isn't in the danger that many may think.
God is in charge and prayers that he guide the DRs and bring a healing touch are being said.
Also prayers of peace for the mom in this situation.
