I am a addict in recovery who now has someone I love who is in active addiction. It's been hard to let go but I have finally let that person go so God can help where I couldn't possibly help. It was the hardest thing that I ever had to do. But I realize how much of a peace that I now have realizing that there's nothing I could have done to help. I should have known this being an addict myself but I guess when your on the other side looking in it's different. I'm new to this forum but glad I found it and all of you. Please pray for the person in my life that God will guide and direct to freedom and recovery. Thanks. Fishing soothes the soul. |

Welcome Snookman Yes a peace "once" we realize that they need learn things on their own at times and with that understanding, I think we begin to fully leave them in God's hands. Took a lot of tears and prayers before I reached that point. Now I can think clearly and be ready with answers, if they ask for them. Quote:
Yesterday, the movie...A River Runs Through It was on the TV. Great fishing going on in that movie.
