please pray for me

Please pray that God will reach down and grab me out of this darkness that I fell into.

Ask Him to help me find the strength in the midst of my weakness and to lift me up.

I know that with God, all things are possible. I believe that God will not leave me stranded when He knows that his child is hurting. God will bring me out of the problems that surround me and give me new life.

We need to do our part as well.
Rather then ask..take it from me.
Ask...give me strength so I can get past this.

I know that I can't do it alone. I need His strength. To this very day I still am in awe of what He has done in me.
Ask and it will be given.

My prayers go along side your prayers.

Thanks Best for your post and prayers.

He always works things out for the best plan of our lives.
I will keep praying that He will give me the strength to get through this.
He can then take my situation and use it in a way that brings Him glory as nothing is ever wasted.

hey folks, I am new to this site, please pray for me - am sorting through alot right now and really need support and acceptance as I try to do what the Lord wants me to and not do what He doesn't want me to do regarding our son's life and his addictions. Sounds like Paul- " that which I hate, I do...." etc. We are trying to separate ourselves from extreme alanon and naranon ideas where detaching is not done in love- we need a forum like this one where spirituality is based on the God of the Bible.

cmc I fully understand what you are saying and I would like to defend Al and Nar just a little. The guides given in both are not extreme. Some who read what is suggested carry some things to the extreme. The messenger might be wrong but the message from All and Nar is ok.
There is a fine line of balance that always needs to be checked.
As in all things... pray first and let the Lord handle what we can't or shouldn't be handling. His hands are bigger and stronger then mine.
