Why go to church and meetings?

Proverbs 13:20 has the answer.

20 He who walks with the wise grows wise,
but a companion of fools suffers harm.


and others have put the same... It is tough to fly with eagles, when you hang around with turkeys.


So shall we skip meetings and not fellowship with other believers?
So shall we continue to hang around with so called friends who only concern is to not get high alone?


Meetings and fellowship are both places we can find people filled with wisdom. We can gather the wisdom and use it for our recovery. Collecting wisdom, holds no price tag. Wisdom is a gift... a free gift, from God.
Ask and it shall be given.
