Just As I Am

<bgsound src="http://www.breadsite.org/midi/just_as_i_am.mid"loop=8">

<center>
Just as I am, without one plea,
But that Thy blood was shed for me,
And that Thou bidst me come to Thee,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

Just as I am, and waiting not
To rid my soul of one dark blot,
To Thee whose blood can cleanse each spot,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

Just as I am, though tossed about
With many a conflict, many a doubt,
Fightings and fears within, without,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

Just as I am, poor, wretched, blind;
Sight, riches, healing of the mind,
Yea, all I need in Thee to find,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

Just as I am, Thou wilt receive,
Wilt welcome, pardon, cleanse, relieve;
Because Thy promise I believe,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

Just as I am, Thy love unknown
Hath broken every barrier down;
Now, to be Thine, yea, Thine alone,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

Just as I am, of that free love,
The breadth, length, depth, and height to prove,
Here for a season, then above,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come!

Thank you for posting this and the music MG.

When I was little, this was one of my favourtite hymns, and when I was baptized, this was played and sung by the choir (I was raised a Baptist so we were baptized at about 12 or 13 years old)

To me it so represents how we can come to God, exactly as we are. He already knows our sins and our faults, and if we come to Him and ask forgiveness, his Mercy and Love will bless our lives.

We have nothing to fear, and everything to gain to just come to Him simply, humbly and just as we are.

Hey, I do like that, but I did't listion to the music. I'll try. How come you have to go though the lamb any way and never in my life have I been this humble, I was wimpering, but I don't want to wimper any more. I don't know how to be humble for the life of me, I'm always so pissed off,even at god and forsome reason I want to smack him and Jesus too. I don't know why,but it's just they say the meak shall inheart te earth, well who wants to be meak?

Just as I am

Morning Glory,
This is one of my farorite Numbers. It's most precious and so true.
I love to play Gospel Music on the Harmonica. It's almost all I'll
play. Although I have been asked to play other types of music,
I never saw any since in it. Thanks And I'll play some of it today.
It's been a while but I encourage everyone to play something in thier lifetime. I find it to be so peaceful and a good way to enjoy
God's free gift of inner peace.
Thanks again for the help,
Wayne

Talking

Hi MG:

Thanks for this post with music:

This song always reminds me of how loving, accepting and patient God is with all of us.

It also reminds of of the Billy Graham Crusades!

Thanks again,

Keep Smilin & Keep Prayin!!

BigTom

Great hymn!, What a blessing to read all of the lyrics in this wonderful song; thanks! (And yes, it definitely reminds me of the Billy Graham crusades!) God Bless You All, Faithful.

MG,
Thank you. I have been so mad at God recently! It hurts my husband to see me like this. Your song reminder helped. Now if I can just sop sobbing, I will do something about it. Love you, Washbe

I missed church today due to travel. It is my favorite song. I have tears running down my cheek. Bless you. As always God knew what I needed even if I didn't.
