Anyone ever take the time to pick up a penny off the ground? Im not sure where I heard this or how it came to me.But,lately I have been stopping when I see a penny on the ground heads up."In God we trust" I pick it up,smile and say "Thank you God"

Its sort of like a reminder for me. Come to think of it,I beleive I got this from Chris(Captainzing2000) I found a penny walking to the lobby and decided to post this.

I never used to pick them up.But,now I look at each one as a little reminder and note from God.

I for one pick up every penny i see....years ago my gramps was watching me sweep the floor...and there was a penny in the dust bunnies...as i proceeded to sweep up into the dustpan my gramps gave me heck for throwing money away!!

Ever since then, i save pennies and pick them up off the ground to when i see them...some people think i'm nuts...it reminds me of gramps.

Im doing great here Wanda.Working 7 days a week,hitting meetings when I can,and saving money.As for the pennies? Its the "In God we trust" thing for me.I found another one this morning.

Heads up.Its just a little reminder to keep my faith and trust in God.

Allthough all of our coins and currency in the US says "In God we trust" pennies are different for me now.A lot of people wouldnt bother with a penny.I guess for me its like pennies from Heaven.

I pick up every penny I see also. My grandmother used to always tell me, a penny saved, is a penny earned.
Now when I see a penny I say thank you to my dead grandmother for being with me in spirit, and pick it up. I associate pennies now to her thinking of me and making me think of her. I used to store them up in a container with no plans to ever part with them. Now I pass them on, whether it's collecting them till I can roll them and give them to a charity, or putting them in the dishes at the counter of a store for those who need them. I know it's what my grandmother would have done. It's enough for me now to just find them and think of her, I don't have to hold onto them.

I pick up change all the time.
Any found money I give to the teen group at church.
They would deposit the change from time to time. One deposit was $127 in found change.
I also look at it as a reminder of God's faithfulness. He provides.

I seem to find and pick up pennies in parking lots all the time. MY thought was, some people pay the gym to bend over and touch their feet., I just MADE money for it.
