Terri, I am sorry for your struggles. God has a plan and if you look for his lessons, he will help you and you will come out of this a better person, a better parent and a better Christian. You are worthy. Jesus died for your sins. How much more worthy could a person be!!!! Keep focusing on making yourself better for you and your daughter and let God take care of everything else. No one is perfect, we have all sinned but God made a way for us to be forgiven. Keep coming back here and get support. Thanks Jeff

Hi Nurse Terri99,this prayer im posting, has helped me through, alot, and has come true in my life, many times, through God,s Grace. When i was lost and confused. When i was hurting and in pain.I pray this prayer, and it helps me to focus on God,and how i can serve Him. God I offer myself to Thee. To do with,me,what Thou wilt. Relieve me of the bondage of self, That i may better do Thy Will, Take away, please take away my difficulities, That victory over them, Will bear withness, of those i can help, Of Thy Love, Thy Power And Thy Strenght. May i do Your Will always. God Bless, you, |

Hello Terri There is a book called ... Streams in the Desert. Many who are going through rough times in their life have found the book to be helpful. It is a daily devotional of sorts. A verse or 3 from a psalm that tell of God's love for us and how He is always there no matter what we are going through. Either that or read the Psalms direct. As God was with David in all his trials and trouble, God is with us as well.

reply to I'm still, Hi nurse Terri99, I was just working with step two from the life recovery bible, and here is what it says about healing faith. Faith is the key to successfully working step 2. For some of us faith comes easily, for others especially if we have experienced betrayal, it may be more difficult. sometimes we must exhaust all of our own resorces in trying to overcome our addictive "disease" before we will risk believing in a higher power. When Jesus lived on earth, he was so renowned for his healing power that crowds of sick people constantly pressed on him. One day "there was a woman in the crowd who had had a hemorrage for twelve years. She had spent everything she had on doctors and still could find no cure. She came up behind Jesus and touched the fringe of his robe, Immediately the bleeding stopped". Jesus realized that someone had touched him, because he felt healing power go out from him. When the woman confessed that she was the one that had been healed, Jesus said "Your faith has healed you, Go in peace." (Luke 8:43-44,48) In order to recover we must follow the example of this woman, We cannot afford to stand back, hoping for "cures" and avoid deliberate action because of our lack of faith. We may have lived with our condition for many years, spending our resources on on promising "cures" without success. When we came to believe in God, A power greater than ourself, and have faith to take hold of our own recovery, we will find the healing power we have been looking for. I hope this will help you, NLIC
