Forgiving one's self is the biggest problem i live with. I suppose if were just *me* that I hurt it might be easier, but when others are involved, it's been impossible for me to FORGIVE MYSELF.

Not impossible, just hard to accept.

Being a parent has helped me find understanding about forgiveness.
My chidren can do all kinds of things that I don't like but I can't think of anything that they could do that I wouldn't forgive them for.
Jesus is the same with us. There is nothing He won't forgive us for.
If Jesus sees the good in us and forgives us, shall we walk about calling him a lier by not forgiving ourself? We can find that His love fills us, even to the point we can learn to forgive ourself.

How 'come I never thought of that. I'm SERIOUS! You're so right .... no matter what our children do .... we'd take them back, nurse them, and try to heal them.

I guess the secret here is that WE MUST HEAL OURSELVES as well!
