Exodus 3:14 God said to Moses, "I am who I am . This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ' I AM has sent me to you.' " Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. |

Gal 4:6 "And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father." I remember my sponsor remarking once, "I think that's our most honest prayer, sometimes, "God, help!". And of course, that sounds good, sign me up, I understood. But now I understand, I think. And God's help is right there, quick as our cry, even swifter, in that moment. Last edited by gimmeid; 02-07-2007 at 06:15 PM. |

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith; in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved his appearing. 2 Tim. 4:7-8 NAS |

Hope4life: The veres you posted above are some of my very very favorites too. Strange, those 4 I need right now, and will open them each morning until I am through the spiritual battle I'm going through. I recognize it for what it is. Here is another favorite. Thanks again. :Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's. Psalm 103:2-5) Love, ![]() Sherry

(((Sherry))) God must have led me here to post those so you could read them. Here's another one you may enjoy. I love this one! Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Philippians 3:12 |

Hope4: I love this one. Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. it is all there for us; forgivesness and mercy, peace in times of fear and trouble, physical, mental and spiritual healing. What a mighty God we serve... Love, ![]() Sherry

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea. -- Psalm 46:1-2 Isn't it amazing to have God as our helper? |

For everything there is a season, And a time for every matter under heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; A time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; A time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; A time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to throw away stones, and a time to gather stones together; A time to embrace, And a time to refrain from embracing; A time to seek, and a time to lose; A time to keep, and a time to throw away; A time to tear, and a time to sew; A time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate, A time for war, and a time for peace. Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 God give us guidance to make the right choices in the seasons.... Love, ((Hope)) ![]() Sherry

"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us" (Hebrews 12:1). God will make a way and give us his strength! |

Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.Isaiah 41:10 You know, God, how often I am afraid. And you know the soil in which these fears have grown. And you know how I have struggled to be free from fear. Help me to draw courage today from your presence. Be with me. Give me strength. Help me. Uphold me with your hand. Still my fears, God of all Comfort. Still my fears with your powerful love. Amen. |

A leaf that falls unattached from the tree has not achieved freedom, but death. Jesus said, "I am the vine and you are the branches. Hold on to me and I will hold on to you, and you will bear fruit." (John 15:5 MEV)

"I will set out and go back to my father and say to him: 'Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son'. . . But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him."Luke 15:18-20 Many times, we may feel unworthy. But God says, " You are my child. You are loved." |

and what did the father do when he had seen his son off in the distance? First of all...the father had to be looking, just as God waits and looks for our return daily. So as the father would look for his son to come down the road...he didn't wait for the son to reach the front door...The father ran down the road to meet the son with great joy in his heart that the son had returned. How much more does God love us? I would say...even before we turn to take that first step home...God is waiting right behind us with open arms.

In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know whatwe ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself prays for us with groans that words cannot express. Romans 8:26 There are those days when all we manage to get out is "God help me" and the Spirit prays on our behalf. The Spirit's response to our weakness is to help us. |
