| Christmas gifts
Ever been asked what you wanted for Christmas and then find the giver doesn't even come close to what you said? I have been asked...what would you want... by my family members. My answer has never changed and they stopped asking. I would like for us all, as a whole family, to sit together in church at least once. Asking and getting seems to be a problem. Jesus asks... give me your troubles and burdens... That is what He wants from us. That is the gift He wants us to give Him. What Jesus does with the gifts He asks for... he changes them into Peace, love, Joy, and Happiness and then He returns them to us. When you open a gift on Christmas day and find it is just what you always wanted, just what you asked for... How do you react? This season...This year... For all the days we have left here on this earth... How about we give Jesus as many gifts that He asks for that we have? He asks that we trust Him and has always shown us though time...He is ever faithful with His promises. This year I will strive to give Jesus my every trouble, my every sorrow, my every burden and I will always try to remember to always give Him the glory in all things. Yes let us all give Jesus the gifts He asks for and then we will see what He does with our lives. This year lets bring the smile to His face as He opens our gifts on Christmas day. Lord help me to better give my whole self to You...All of me.

What a good post, Best. And so true. I am so thankful that God has given me this life. I was raised in church and I am very grateful that my parents and children are in church with me every Sunday. I will also give the gifts to Jesus of my faith and trust in him. I am learning how to thank him for not only my good times, but the bad ones, too. When I am having a hard time with something, it is because I have not completely turned my will over to him.
