| A Christians Hope.
I wanted to share this since I am a firm believer in Jesus Christ and a Christian.I find the following very helpful in overcoming while in recovery. Our Hope And Trust Are To Be Fixed In God Alone. Lord, what is the confidence that I have in this life,or what is the greatest comfort that all the things under heaven give to me? Is it not You,O Lord,my God,whose mercies are without number? When have things ever gone well with me without You,or when could things go badly with me when You were present? I had rather be poor for Your sake than rich without You. I would rather be a pilgrim on earth with You,than to possess heaven without You. Where You are there is heaven, and where You are not there are death and hell. You are all my desire and therefore I must sigh and call and earnestly pray to You. I have none in whom I can fully trust, none who can help me at the proper time with my necessities, but only You,my God. You are my trust and my confidence,my Comforter and in all things most faithful to me. What a Saviour. Praise God for His mercy endureth forever in Jesus name.Amen God bless you all brothers and sisters in the Lord. Thank you for being here. Steven. |
